Mark Schlesinger, MD | Pain Management Physician

Dr. Schlesinger is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist with over 25 years experience. He received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Schlesinger received three years of training in surgery at the Roosevelt Hospital in New York, spent a year as a research associate at the Surgery Branch of the National Heart Institute in Bethesda, Maryland and completed a residency in anesthesiology at the UCLA Hospital and Clinics in Westwood.

Special clinical interests include cancer pain, headaches and conditions affecting the spine. Dr. Schlesinger has given medical staff lectures on pain related topics at both Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and Providence Tarzana Medical Center and is a regular speaker at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Tumor Board. For diversion Dr. Schlesinger plays golf and enjoys travel and ballroom dancing. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks passable French and Italian.
